So... Kenan now cares about Truth, Justice and Democracy? Why? Because his dad died also? Kenan never showed .... screw it, this is so badly written it barely makes any sense.

Of course his old man dies. As if Kenan wasn't enough of a superman rip-off in so many ways. And in what way were his father and mother different than the other freedom fighters?

So suddenly the Fighters and the League collaborate against the Great Ten... but wouldn't that have serious consequences for the league?

Since Freedom Fighters are terrorists that want to be martyred, at least black condor does, and the Ten or whatever want to shoot down the plane, I guess I'm supposed to root for the Justice League, but their Superman is an asshole whose fiendishness is forgotten by his victim and they work for a supervillain. In fact, Batman and Wonder Woman are such blank slates, I have nothing to root for here as well.

Kenan just slaps those 3 starros on his enemies!? Now I'm feeling that he is a mary sue.

The comic confirms that Kenan is basically channeling Superman's chi by aligning his intentions with those of superman-

The fat kids father straight up complies with killing his son for national security? The worst thing about this is, that the story portrays the chinese government agents as ultimately good and the fighters for democracy as evil. Despite all the shit the government people do.

Suuuurrrreeee Kenan, just excuse Dr. omen planting an explosive on your father a "compliance device." What is this story? Is this supposed to be written so Kenan realizes whom he is in bed with or is this just propaganda after all?

Kenan's mother called herself The Liberty Goddess.... things really are strange here. She and her husband were activists before Kenan was born. Why are they portrayed as the bad guys here?
