OMG YALL this book is amazing. Isabel Wilkerson is absolutely brilliant. The metaphors she uses are so powerful and elegant it's like being beaten with the sovereign's scepter, but also you like it? They are so insightful I like to imagine that even white people that don't believe in racism would get them.
I'm listening to the audible book, it's narrated by Robin Miles (also does NK Jemisin's books) and *chef's kiss*
