I'm finding it very hard not to explode with excitement over every new page, as it's filled with photos of the men and women profiled. I've yet to not recognize any of them. They're all rather handsome, if I may say so.

I'm only up to page twenty-seven and we've already covered Vita's daring Parisian prank, which involved dressing as a soldier and strolling around Piccadilly. No one noticed a thing. She was even addressed by a paper boy as "sir". Vita, I adore you.

Any book with Vita Sackville-West on the cover is a good book in my view.
