The writing's not great, but the plot's interesting. The island on which the White Rock Academy is built, which pretty much embodies the entire World of Light, is very well-thought out. The world-building is great, is what I'm trying to say. One last thing: let. Me. Guess. Alonso goes bad. This isn't a spoiler; I'm just calling all the foreshadowing as I see it.
