Not loving it so far. Had to put it down and read something or as... intense? I get the hyper realistic nature of the book, and I get that the world is worth writing about and that Selby is writing about a world not usually (at the time) seen, but I don’t know that anything is being revealed or discovered, which makes the book just feel punishing.
