The Life of Chuck - 3 stars
LOVED the beginning (so, Act 3 since it's told in reverse) - I was so up for the apocalypse setting! But then I was not really into the other two acts ... they weren't bad, they just weren't as interesting after already getting something really cool. I also had to look up what the hell actually happened here - it was NOT obvious enough how Chuck dying leads to the end of the world.

So, I started "If it Bleeds", got a good chunk in, but realised at some point, that it's not going to work if you haven't read the Outsider (or that other trilogy). I just felt like I was missing out on a LOT because I didn't know the other books - so I decided to skip that story and continue with "Rat".
Maybe if I ever read the other ones I will come back, but honestly they are really not a priority right now...

Not bad, liked the story and the characters. I just felt you could have done a little bit more with it, the ending wasn't very satisfying.
