I am enjoying the character of Mara. I like that Willow Aster has written Mara as fallible and capable of jealousy, rage, fear, envy, anxiety, hurt and all the other negative emotions that other authors fear for their heroines. I like that Mara blankets herself in these negatives simply in self preservation. She is so much more vulnerable than her tough, mean, angry exterior. She is so much more real& relatable
