Really engaging. Stream of consciousness narration (first person, present tense, spelling errors and colloquialisms) is perfect for the story and very entertaining. Commentary on masculinity and maybe religion. Detailed mechanics of the Noise. The description of the "hole" and how it make Todd feel is evocative.
