decided to take a break from the bridgerton series and start another historical romance book instead!! so far, it’s pretty good. i like the whole marriage-of-convenience storyline but there are too many characters introduced in the first parts of the book - i’m having trouble keeping up with the names HAHA

It’s taking me quite a while to get through this book. I think it’s because the romance in it truly is such a slow burn. The writing is fantastic though.
