What did he do?

There is a very thin line between this guy and a child molester. "Coaxing her with kisses, he never gave her a chance to resist." She just got done pouring out her sob story about being the daughter of a whore and the town believing she is one as well. He takes the opportunity to determine if she is a whore by taking her virginity. It's too much work to just comfort her and either A. ask her or B. assume she isn't since that's why the fuck she's crying. Also, he called her "little girl." *shudder*

The "little girl" thing is particularly creepy. The hero of Uncertain Magic called the heroine that all the time. Yuck!

So far he's only said it once. I'm more disgusted by his forced seduction to check the status of her hymen.

Judith McNaught uses "little one" in several of her books but it never bothered me much. I just associated it with being petite but "little girl" creeps me out.

If I vomit on this book, I am mailing it to the author.

LOL! I can't believe he had sex with her to see if she was a virgin!
