THIS DR IS A JERK!!!!!!!!!!!! He wrote a letter saying IF SHE WAS FREE she might ACCEPT HIM but that he shouldn’t discuss it with her because SHE IS SICK. THE NERVE. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This man is as odious as Mr. Thorpe from Northangar Abbey. I hated that man and I hate this one. They are fictional so I have that luxury.

I have a great dislike for Dr. Harrison. I really can’t stand him. I skim his sentences. Why did they keep their engagement such a secret? I understand, but I really don’t. The dr. should have known sooner. He just made a fool of himself over a year. Ugh.

Five hundred and thirteen pages read. I have reached the end of part one. I am thoroughly impressed. I liked that. I was confused a bit but not really. I am more confounded by what part two is going to consist of...another five hundred pages! I did enjoy all that though. Very much. Except the doctor and the squire. Haha.
