Lit Bug (Foram) And someone please suggest cyberpunk anime and manga as well. Preferably from '80s onward.

I've seen Ghost in the Shell and Akira, going for those listed on Wiki, but if you have some personal recos, please let me know.

Ergo Proxy's on my list! Lovely :)

I've only seen the original anime of Ghost in the Shell - any idea how the others in the series are? Do they have that brilliant concept of looking at technological incursions into the female body?

Luke It's been a long while since I last saw the movies, but from what I remember the themes were very similar, albeit the movie had a much eerier tone of near beatification to it.
