I haven’t budged on this reread in over a year. It’s time to embrace the fact that I’ll never finish this reread.

Why? The Turin chapter is dense and long and full of names and lore. So much that I can’t keep it straight in my head for more than five minutes.

This is very much a me problem tho.

2025 Reread and Buddy Read with my son. We listen and read one chapter together a day and then talk about it. It’s a lot easier to follow with pausing and discussion.

Man, Feanor’s kids get extra marks for stubbornness. But an F in friendship, eh?
