The Climax of the Darkest Minds is when a kid named Clancy takes advantage of the main character's need for help to get closer to her on a personal level. He then beat up Liam, one of the main characters, and held Ruby in a storage room. This is the climax because it shows anticipation for a huge attack on the storage room.

This report is about the Last Day on Mars.
The climax in the last Day on Mars was very action filled. I remember that the main character, Liam, was being targeted by aliens because he and his friends had information about why the sun was rapidly expanding. The aliens then destroyed his spaceship, stranding him on Mars. Liam spends hours fixing the ship, and takes down the alien threat.

The climax in the last Day on Mars was very action filled. One of the supporting characters in my book is Suzume. Zu, as she is called by her friends, is a small 7 year old girl who can blow stuff up with her mind. The author uses her as an example that a kid doesn't have to be big to be dangerous. Zu is definitely a conscience role in the book. She is a conscience supporting character because she often backs up the main character's thinking.

A connection made between myself and the main character is that she is to find her way home. I connected with this because of a time where I was left at baseball practice and wasn’t picked up when practice ended. I walked halfway to my house before my parents spotted me and picked me up. This connection leaves a feeling of loneliness when the main character ventures off alone.

There are a few personality traits that Ruby possesses, but the strongest of all is her bravery. I know she has this trait because of countless occasions where she puts her life on the line in the name of her party of friends. An examples of her bravery is the time where she and her party were being chased by bounty hunters, and Ruby forces them to leave by ordering them to leave with her mind!

In my book, the organization going against the main characters is the government. I know this because they have set up prisons across America to hold psychic kids. Other events that show that the government are the bad guys are that they invented a white noise device that resonates at a certain frequency that only the psychics can hear, and that they have put a bounty on the main characters capture.
