"she kissed him with all the aching longing that being this close to him evoked; she kissed him in all the ways he had ever kissed her, feeling faint with joy when he began to kiss her back, his mouth moving with fierce tenderness, then opening with fiery demand over hers, until their breaths were mingled gasps, and they were straining to one another."

Just when I thought the emotions and betrayals couldn't get worse, they did... FINALLY I believe the reconciliation has occured. If so I am about to be very happy!!!!

"Where is your home?" She asked after a long and comfortable silence. "Wherever you are." The quiet tenderness in his deep voice took her breath away.

This is a hard one to put down Aly. Don't you just love Nicki, Cheri! I loved him. I hear he has a book (novella I think) I haven't gotten to it yet.
I super loved this love/hate angst ridden book. It is one of my top fav 5 star reads. McNaught is epic romance personified.
Enjoy!
I do like him Kelly. I wonder if he will show up in England. I like Clayton, but I hate the deceiving of Whitney. I can't put this one down, it has really sucked me into the story, just like A Kingdom of Dreams. I haven't had a chance to read today, but I will later.... yes, this is a wonderful epic romance. I think Nicki is in the third book, I believe some characters including Clayton and Whitney are in Until You. But maybe the novella is in the anthology with Jude Deveraux.... I need to look them up. I remember Dhestiny saying this was a very intense emotional book... I haven't gotten to any intense moments yet.

Nicki's story in the anthology was so disappointing. He really should have had his own story, but that aside, the short was just really disappointing.
