Anybody know of good books on Techno-Orientalism in cyberpunk? I got somebody's PhD thesis online (http://muir.massey.ac.nz/bitstream/ha...) and saw it would be a part of my topic too.

Don't know of any books *on* it, but is G. Willow Wilson's _Alif the Unseen_ an example *of* it?

Um, not exactly since classic cyberpunk is associated with the urban locales of urbanized Japan and Hong Kong. As in the movie Blade Runner. Gibson said "Modern Japan simply was cyberpunk." when he saw Shibuya territory of Tokyo.See here - https://www.google.co.in/search?q=shi...
Including the Middle-East in cyberpunk is a more recent phenomenon, and not really synonymous with 'cyberpunk'.
