One day, Bailey and Ethan thankfully got tired of the flip and went fishing in the pond. Nothing was biting for a long time and Bailey was getting bored and Ethan was becoming frustrated. Finally a huge fish was on the line, and Ethan went overboard! He kept getting deeper and deeper and Bailey was freaking out! What else could he do but jump in and save his boy? He went in and dragged Ethan back to the boat.

Bailey liked that he got to be outside and with Ethan everyday. One thing he did not like though, was the flip. The flip was some strange fabric object that Ethan seemed to be very excited about. He would throw it and expected Bailey to go get it! What was this crazy thing? Even though Bailey could be more excited about this new creation, he'd go get t just because it made Ethan very happy.

The days got boring once again, but Bailey could entertain himself with a toy or stalk the cat. Either way it was something to pass the time. The sub started shining longer in he day and soon Ethan was home all the time! Then something marvelous happened. The family packed up and went to somewhere called the farm. At the farm was grandma and grandpa! Bailey could tell that the farm was where he belonged.

Even still, joy and giggles filled the home and presents were under this magnificently decorated tree! Ethan was so happy, and if Ethan was happy so was Bailey. A few days later fire works went off and then sadly Ethan was back to school. But still Bailey was older and bigger now. So he was allowed in the house and even stay in the house when the family was gone!

The days continued to be full of joy and laughter. Time was spent sledding with Ethan and spending time with the neighbors. And of course the new boy. Bailey still did not like him, and Ethan seemed only to tolerate him. Every once in awhile Ethan would come home early from a play date or come home without the boy.

The days continued to get colder and shorter. And Bailey was brought to the cool room with the strange man again! Of course the cone of shame was back along with the strange sting and itch. Oh well it cleared up. Then Ethan was home all the time! They would play in the snow with his neighbor and her dog fluffy and sometimes Ethan would go off with the new boy. But all was well.

The year continued and it got colder and colder and bailey for bigger and bigger. As did Ethan. Each day Ethan and Bailey started going to their neighbors house to do homework but bailey liked to play with the dog, fluffy. Then a new family came to town! Ethan liked playing with the new boy. But no dog.... Even though Ethan was having fun with his new friend, bailey could tell he wasn't a good boy.

The year went on and bailey got a new house in the garage! He heard dad call it a dog house, whatever that meant... Bailey didn't really enjoy the dog house because it meant that he couldn't sleep with Ethan! So Bailey whined and whimpered... Sooner or later Ethan came down to sleep with bailey in the house. Then mom and dad came too! But they came to take them up to Ethan's room. And that was it for the dog house.

Eventually Bailey got used to the garage. And he finally figured out how to go outside to go to the bathroom! Ethan was so proud and happy that he didn't have to clean up bailey's mess. Bailey was so happy being with his boy and his family.

Bailey did everything with his boy! He slept with him, played with him, everything. Until this one weird day when mom and Ethan were up early and frantically running around the house. Bailey was so confused! The he was put in the garage! For the whole day until the boy got home. And this went on for a long long time.
