its so wild to me that this is my 5th read of this book and it just never gets old or tedious? it just enchants me every single time. i wish reading always felt like this, i really struggle to feel this compulsively readable vibe with other books. i guess this series is rly just perfect for me <3

I've seen some posts about why people hate Nesta and one reasoning was because she defies the traditional older sibling narrative in most of the genre (aka the older sibling becomes the replacement parent). I really like that interpretation especially given the gender dynamics of older sisters, specifically, taking on a mother role. I like to see complex women who are flawed and I'm so excited for her POV to come out.
