Does anyone remember another YA book that starts with the protagonist getting a ride home from her super chill teacher, bantering about his music taste, then being told not to mention it to anyone? I have so much Deja Vu rn and genuinely thought I read this years ago and forgot about it but it just came out so I must be thinking of something else.

(I think the one I'm remembering was about a theatre kid)
