I was pretty damn excited that this was set in the world of swimming. Because swimming is a big deal in my life.
But.
It’s obvious this author knows exactly zero about competitive swimming & spent zero effort to learn anything before attempting to Olympic Swimming/Swimmers as a plot point/backdrop.
And the rest of the story is so full of ridiculous tropes.
