// The author needs to fine-tune her transitions as well ... you can’t be at the house one minute and at the studio the next … Show us, the readers, the drive to and from somewhere so they can have a little bit of conversation, and stop fucking paraphrasing and summarizing everything ... show us the conversation, let us see the developing relationship and friendship!!

// We’re veering into “telling too much; not showing enough” territory! I don’t think that will be the case, but the author better beware! Also, instead of saying “winking face emoji”, how about just putting that emoji into the text? Some authors do that and it’s a fantastic decision, which this author specifically should follow suit on!
