The introduction and translator's note do not celebrate this work, nor do they magnify the atrocities that would follow the publication of this work. But they (most importantly) illustrate the social conditions that would mark Hitler's rhetoric, and how his delivery - as well as his whitewashing of factual evidence for his own narrative - would come to define the atrocity of an entire nation.
