Im having issues with this already: 1. Characterisation is off. We learn tonnes about both main protagonists outwit their inter-character dialogues (thus whats point of their conversations from reader viewpoint?) 2. Prose is mechanical and devoid of the angst & passion that ought be there. Hmm... Boring?
