Yeah, my progress is slow. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a kids version but it’s so repetitive. “god told Noah to build a boat. God said “Noah, build a boat”. God said Noah needed to build a boat for the flood he was sending. God was sending a flood and he needed Noah to build a boat. The boat would keep Noah safe from the flood.”

I mean, really?!

Okay seriously?! God’s a dick. He decided not to like Cain’s present, goaded him, then punished him when he reacted.

Sorry if this is your faith and it’s a biggie for you. I was raised Anglican and it does stick a bit with me but wooooooow!

So okay, The Bible is on my 50 books to read before you die list and this is the copy I was given when I was 7 by my godparents, I think. I’m not going to buy a new bible.

But okay, so the snake tempted Eve with the fruit etc, and there’s this stuff about nudity being a sin, but nowhere in the 7 days did God create right and wrong and they’re his rules anyway so why set Eve up for failure like that?
