The final "claiming" scene is definitely off: mostly, it's just in the wrong place (the story was over, I didn't want to read any more). This caused a lot of the tension or arousal to have no chemistry (ho-hum). I sort of wish the hospital intimacy scene was the end, sorta wished the theme of "mated fully with OTHER acts" was incorporated. Which is odd for me. But the rest! Love. Sequel I will read!

Hmm. Clever writing to ease into a sequel. No horrible cliff hanger, but I desperately want to know more about the world, about Grant, about Ezra, and maybe a little about Julia. Definitely about twins. Would twins be mated to the same person?

WHAT a climax! Whew! Fantastic. Still, a very straightforward story, nothing terribly surprising or deeply stilling (other than its unique human bio-psychology). This one is like a car chase you can't not watch.

But without the "rape, pain, and complicated plot" thing. (Pathfinder is a-fucking-mazing. Have my babies, Jaken.)

I just realized what book this reminds me of: Pathfinder! By J. A. Jaken. It's the "hurry up and claim the sub before another Dom does and you lose your chance at using his power" thing.

And please tell me there will be fireworks between Grant and Ezra in a sequel. Oh god! But they are both Doms... or are they...?

Why is this so freaking addictive! MC is in such a torn space--I want you but I don't! But wait! I have to deal with this life or death situation first! There isn't much to the story (but the world sure has heaps-o-potential) and the psychology is running too quickly (insta-mate 'n' all), but I can't stop reading! It's a race!
