What was the point of Nick? I am pretty disgusted with his character, but at the same time, Sofie should have been straight up with him.

So far, I really like her writing style. It is smooth, easy to read. I find the storyline intriguing. However, she introduced a lot of characters right off the bat, and it is kind of confusing keeping them straight. I found myself skimming the first chapter till things settled down a little.
