How long does Myrth stay in the system, and is Adley trying to kill everyone. And will they blame it on Romy?

Really thought the accents were going to break me on this one.

I don’t understand the relationship between Max, Ryan, and the main character. I also don’t understand if this was meant to be a reverse harem, or if the author just wanted to throw in a quick tease to a dysfunctional throuple.
But the sex scenes are also very…..off. They don’t have a smooth flow. Seems very…I can’t describe it. Broken? Jagged? Abrupt?

So far I am enjoying the story. It’s a little on the slow pacing side, but I like Ava, and I am intrigued by this mysterious past of hers. I am betting she was a demon princess of some kind.

I am listening to the Graphic Audio version. The actors are all great, but my God. The background music choices during the love scenes is going to kill me. It’s so ridiculous. 🫣🤮

I’ve listened to the audio book of this whole series and it’s one of my favorites. But now I am relistening to the dramatized versions. So far…I like the growling, but I forgot how irritating Feyre is in the first half of this book.

I am already guessing that Isolde was Adrian’s reincarnated soulmate. A former witch who was killed during the burning. Why she has such an aversion to flame. And that she is the ginger, green eyed woman Isolde keeps seeing.

What’s in the box?! What’s in the BOX?!?!?! WHATS IN THE BOXXXXXXX?!?!

Loving it so far. All this tension and allusion to a throuple between Poppy, Cas, and Kieran is driving me nuts.

I’m actually really loving this book, and I am truly enjoying the series. I feel like most of her books follow the same formula, but I like it. The “Chosen” one trope….I’m a fan.

I already feel iffy about the writing style. It seems choppy.

Darcy to Marcus: "Fine. We don't have to get married. We will be like Goldie Hawn and what's his name?" I died. The irony that this book was written and published in 2005, the movie for Something Borrowed came out in 2010ish, and the character of Darcy was played by none other than Goldie Hawn and What's His Name's daughter. A hahahahahahaha.

Sofie's petty jealousy and girl drama antics are really irritating. And what is the point of all these clingy ex-hump buddies that are coming out of the wood work. Can we get back to the supernatural Kihn?

What was the point of Nick? I am pretty disgusted with his character, but at the same time, Sofie should have been straight up with him.

So far, I really like her writing style. It is smooth, easy to read. I find the storyline intriguing. However, she introduced a lot of characters right off the bat, and it is kind of confusing keeping them straight. I found myself skimming the first chapter till things settled down a little.

I freaking love this series man. I hate Javier with a burning passion, but he has these moments where I love him.

"Wait! Rewind!" maybe if you were focused on the homework and not boys.......I just want to punch every character in the face.

Emerson is really starting to piss me off. This girl is ridiculously shallow.

SPOILER!! I think Savitar is Ash's father!!!!! Thinking back to the chemistry Bitch face and he had many books back. I think it was Devil May Cry?

I feel like Sherri is being incredibly inconsistent. I will of course re-read Acheron when I am finished. I don't remember Ryssa hating Styxx like she does. I remember her loving both brothers, though Ash was her favorite. I also HATE that she keeps using modern terminology and slang in the BC chapters. It keeps sucking me out of the story.
