There was nothing to forgive. Steven’s confusion and anger had been entirely understandable.

Are you kidding me? His anger was NOT understandable. It's really concerning how Raen rationalizes Steven's 'darker sides' away all the time...
I feel so bad for Raen, he's such a sweet and innocent guy.

I love Raen so much but his rationalizing reminds me of a housewife convincing herself that her abusive husband wasn't a bad guy after all...

You know, I would usually hate that bonded soulmate instalove type of thing, but with Raen being a merman, it works for me :-))

He let Steven go, turning his hand to stare at the substance produced by Steven’s pleasure.
