Has slightly lost some gusto when jumping on to Victorian scotland and beyond. But I very much appreciate any book that describes the 'capacious backsides of Glasgow's blethering cake-munchers'

I didn't expect this to be such a thrill ride tour through Scottish monarchy. Very light touch on the art so far but I'm enjoying it.

I wasn't expecting so much romantic history. Quickly gaining a list of 2000 year old monuments to revisit whicg I've walked past a bunch of times none the wiser of their history.
