Sigh... I’m shipping Adam and Harold not Adam and Olivia at this point

Meh so much meh. The story is dragging.

Oh my gosh the leads have finally been introduced to each other and actually spoken words to each other we’re only 63 pages in.

So I’ve already hit a crapton of anachronisms including heebie-jeebies which didn’t come into existence until 100 years later in 1923. And the hero and heroine have not met yet or they rather have just met and we’re 52 pages into the book. Which is way too late. Not to mention there is a ton of infodump.
