Re-reading this after reading all of the stand alone books in the First Law world has been interesting. For instance, a comment by Nicomo Cosca (who I completely forgot that he shows up in this book) about Murcatto and a siege. That one comment is expanded in Best Served Cold! I need to re read since I completely forgot the Dagoska and the North storyline.
