I ups to the bar. Foot on the rail. A large piece of fuzzy meat that finally focuses into a jowly barkeep with three days worth of beard leans over to me. Smile, stranger.
"What's yours?"
"Ten cents worth o' th' drip'ns from yer daddy's hatband, Henry."
"Muscatel?"
"Yer privy to me very thoughts."
He sets up a water glass the size of a jam jar and fills it brim shivering full with the golden juice
