There is motion towards merging story A with story B. I won't skip to the end to find out, because if I do, I won't go back and bother with the gazillion "the fact thats", which develop the main human character quite nicely if relentlessly. I like the ride and will continue.

I was unsure if I would be the kind of person who could get the rhythm of a book written like a modern day Finnegan's Wake, but happily, I can.
I will avoid writing updates that begin with "the fact that", because the fact is, it's been done many many many times already.
