I love reading Sir Baldwin's sass in these books.

I got super excited when I recognized Dean Alfred in this book. He's like one of my favourite minor characters, and is portrayed as a bit of a bumpkin, but once you cross him he's like totally scary and I respect that.

I liked him in The Chapel of Bones where we got to see more of his character... But he's cool here as well.

We have met all the characters and have read their intriguing background. The mystery component just started and I look forward to seeing how Sir Baldwin unravels what happened to the victim and who committed the murder.

Though, we do have a lot of interesting characters that would have loved to see this man dead.

The summary on the back of the book sounded interesting and I wanted to start off my bingo card with a historical murder mystery. History and mystery combined is always a great thing to read. :)
