Poll tax has always been the enemy of the British people which I find hilarious. Steve Jobs doesn't deserve 5 pages.

Mother Theresa is a controversial pick to say the least. Sports stars are NOT leaders, at least not on the same level as people like MLK and Churchill.

How can you have a whole section about Picasso and show none of his art? FDR married his cousin??

No mention of Ghandi's negatives. A baseball player is not a leader in my opinion. Personally I don't think supporting Edward VIII in the abdication was a good move but then I dislike Edward. Lenin was a good leader from a certain point of view but by no means a good person. He inflicted a lot of pain and suffering on his people. The whole page about him going back to Russia didn't even mention the Germans' role.

I think too much of this book is modern. I didn't know Queen Victoria was so tiny.

I suppose, this being an American book, it makes sense they'd give George Washington the most pages so far, e even more than Jesus. Some of these facts are really lame. Just how late Britain granted Independence in S. America is sad.

I didn't expect there to be more monks now than in the middle ages. Why isn't William the Conqueror included in here? The start of the Seven Years War is outlined very simply here, and it was not a simple war.

While I understand this book is about great leaders it seems very one-dimensional, not showing flaws or negative things that these people did. While that's probably not as easy to do in a book like this, it would add some nice depth.

I think it's a pet peeve of mine when there are spelling errors in books because they are supposed to have been proof-read and edited by multiple people prior to publication. It doesn't look professional.

I appreciate the rounded approach to religion, not dismissing the biblical angle but still bringing in scientific arguments, and linking it to Islam as well. No mention of bias in Caesar's recounting of his victories.
