Ugh! I hate to do this because books are so expensive -- but 'Truth Like The Sun' is not what I hoped it would be -- I'm setting it aside in favor of 'The Falls: Making a List and Checking it Twice".
It's not that 'Truth' is particularly bad, it's just not for me -- lacking the character-color that makes a read fascinating, decadent, maniacal, so-good-they must have a secret characters. LOVE the Seattle history!

Hmmm… is something going to HAPPEN? Not sure how the characters feel about themselves, their situation, or their 'next move'. Waiting for the conflict; because what I am reading seems like a serial recitation. I'm disappointed. It's one of those books -- should you trudge on, after all the technique of the writing is great; but what IS the point? For now, I'm going to trudge on.

A breathless assistant miraculously finds him in the mumbling crowd and explains that one of the fighter jets that flew over (the opening to the Seattle World's Fair) has just crashed into a north end neighborhood.
