I'm going to put this down and send it back to the lending library, because I've been trying to read it for 5 months.

This is no fault of the book's, but rather whomever underlined a bunch of stuff in this copy. It's distracting, and I can't work past that flaw.

I'll pick it up again when I can find a clean copy.
