I am hating this book. It was recommended to me by my oldest friend who also insisted I read Cryptonomicon by Neil Stevenson which sucked in exactly the same way - obsessive, overindulgent, needlessly long winded passages that the author apparently thinks are really clever. Imagine being cornered by one of these d00ds at a public function. Uhk. Please let this get better.
