Oh those apes are back and are massacring the nice people of Jessie Town? It’s amazing that Huro’s party managed to get away from these well-organized apes. Oh and Merry better not die with Kazu the Paladin being around, that would be stupid.

So Jessie is some kind of god or something that cares about people, to an extent. What I found interesting about Jessie is that he shares the same philosophy as me in that he is treating life as a game. Huro however does not agree with Jessie’s philosophy and thinks that life should not be taken so lightly and should be taken seriously and hung on to for its own sake and the sake of others. I like that.

So it seems that this Jessie guy is pretty reasonable and is trying to build a community and something, what a heck for and what does he want? In the very beginning of the volume it was clear that he regretted being a hermit and didn’t want to die from that bear attack all alone. So now he’s been blessed with super healing or maybe even immortality? It probably comes at a cost. Who knows!

At this rate, I’m not sure how the gang will make it to Alterna. Also, is Setora officially part of Huro’s gang now? Seems rather temporary since she’s not making any effort to be friendly with anyone but Huro. Also, I didn’t like that they couldn’t do anything against the annoying apes. Yume could’ve laid down traps or something or they could’ve lured them into ambushes. Oh well.

I’m glad that their whereabouts is being described in the overall map of Grimgar, however I would like a visual map! The ones on google made by fans are helpful, but are missing things and the scale might be very much off. I’m almost considering making my own map, but that’ll mean I’ll have to re-read a lot of text. Fuck that.
