Even though I don't read very much of this at a time, I don't want to quit it. It isn't a book you can read much at a time because of the heaviness of it. Still it is good to return to every so often because of the reminders of the effect of our selfishness. Jesus tells this to Josefa and she is able to bear suffering for Him. I wish I was better able to. Still the awareness is good for me.

Jesus replied, "Some are held back from perfection by some attachment ... others live in indifference and even in sin ... others again, and these are very numerous, are obstinate in wrongdoing and blinded by error." How to save a great many? "Unite all you do to My actions, whether you work or whether you rest. Unite your breathing to the beating of My heart."
