I read to book until the part the Leonardo reached around age 40. I think I got what I needed from the book for now. The rest, I will read when I get older perhaps. It is a ~600 page book so takes time to read.
OVERALL:
If you are into interdisciplinary projects, or if you find your self simultaneously active in different disciplines anywhere from Art to Science, the life of Leonardo would be a wonderful learning.

-Leonardo was a mixed-raced born. His father Italian and his mom speculated to be Chinese or black according to historical records.
-He had not finished a single project by himself and was damn depressed when he hit 30s.
-He then moved to Milan and pitched some ideas to the mayor of the city listing 10 projects. NON of the projects had anything to do with painting. They were ALL engineering proposals.
