I felt the same at the whole series. And sometimes it was okay but sometimes it was just weird.

i didnt mind it in like the first two books since they were so short. i wasnt expecting much development in a novella, but the rest of the books are nearly full length so using the same formula for those as the novellas makes them super rushed and underdeveloped ://// the books have potential tho
