After I hang up, a sudden surge of joy hits me- a feeling of harmony, like everything is well and as it should be. Seeing that it’s Sunday, I count my blessings: My sister is happy; Granny is saintly; the morning hoop run was perfect, the pizza delicious; my friends are laughing; the Giants are winning; and Angelo D’Angellini is once again wearing his clothes.

All is right with the world.

Dude idk why but the voice of the main character really makes me smile like an idiot. I didn’t expect to like this book so much so quickly.
