Really good novel. I wish the author added a second perspective of what's going on with Earth, instead of flashback sequences. This is so far a 4/5 because of its fun, problem-solving protagonist and friend, and a incredibly creative addition to science fiction. The protagonist is great. What would put it at 5/5 is a satisfying ending, good or bad, like The Martian. I hope Ridley Scott directs this movie too.

The audiobook is such a joy. This voice actor does a great job. But we really need a full cast edition of the audio book. Hopefully we get one after the movie.

Fantastic book so far. Loving the completely different way of thinking about life introduced within the first few chapters. The book jumps immediately into action, introduces the problem, and makes you want to keep reading.
