Been a long time since I last updated but I took an almost 4 month break to write and read a couple of other things, and I didn't want to update until I finished book 3 which is the longest of the five books. BUT I FINISHED IT JUST NOW and !!!! Everything is as good, funny and enjoyable (and occasionally painful) as I remember. No regrets. Next, book 5! Hopefully I'll finish it by the end of the month? year?

Finished book 1, on to book 3! I love this novel so much. There are some scenes I'd forgotten about that I got to rediscover and god, do I love these characters with all my heart.

Finished book 4. God, all the parallels. All the details I forgot or missed.....Reading this novel again and in chronological order is truly SO satisfying. Though of course book 4 is only pain and I feel it hit harder than on the first read....so I'm glad I can now move on to present time, where all the fun happens!

Finished book 2! I have a lot of Hua Cheng feelings, as you do. And Xie Lian....the chaos of the end of this part.....Feels Bad Man. Onwards to book 4, which is going to be consequently worse, yay!

YEP I'm rereading this 2000+ pages monster. Percentage progress won't be accurate because I'm starting it from book 2 and book 4 (which are flashbacks) to read it chronologically~ I read a few chapters already and it's amazing to notice all the details I missed or forgot, as well as those I can fully appreciate now that I'm familiar with all the characters and know the whole story!
