Getting frustrating how much Dale says "this can't work" and "we shouldn't do this" and "you're my student" and "you deserve better" he says it almost constantly, not to mentions thinks it. Almost 70% in and he's still thinking/saying it a lot and it's just been said too much that now it's annoying.

Sounds like the MCs aren't the most likable bunch in this one... but at least you're *almost* done? Good luck though.

But from around 75% to 90% he was annoying the fuck out me, I was not agreeing with his choices and wanted him to really realize what an idiot he was and how much he screwed up 😂

Oh god... I think I understand better then. It's the dread 80% conflict, when most romance books end up adding that extra bit of drama :P Either way, happy to hear you had a mostly great time before it! Hoping the epilogue is worth it.
