Vol:1 is the pretty much the same as the slim volume Requiem for an Elf, except that the first story in the slim is all written word, with occasional full page pictures and in this volume it's a comic.

Some changes in the story happened when it went to comic, some I liked - Luse's interactions with the Demon for one. Gretchen's bit was cut short though, which is sad.
