There's nothing that stands out as particularly "bad" in this story, it's just so unbelievably not what I expected. I heard about how dark and creepy it is, but it's honestly the most boring dystopia I've read in a long while... and a lot of it is totally incorrect when it comes to human behavior.

I think what's preventing me from really loving this is that I don't find the government to be realistic and I think I probably just wasn't in the mood for a dystopian. I need a good fantasy.
