Not sure about this yet. It’s beautiful written but idk if I know enough about Chinese culture to benefit from the references which is frustrating, and something I need to rectify quickly. I’ll have to look for some intro to Chinese myths like the Edith Hamilton book for green myths.

I wasn’t sure about this at first but I don’t think I was in the right mindset (also I was trying to juggle multiple poetry books at once: always a confusing endeavor). This has picked up and I’m liking it a lot. I like the narrative style, the quick pace. I like the anger, the sarcasm.
