It's good to be back with Yaz and co. The previous book was only told through Yaz's perspective, if I recall correctly - nice change of pace, having this one broken into several points of view.

I am curious. Have you read the Red Sister series? How do you think it compared to that series so far?

How do you think it compared to that series so far?"I unfortunately have not - however, I've been told by others this is the most hopeful fantasy protagonist Mark Lawrence has written yet, and I do believe the two series are very tonally different. That said, I recognize references to previous novels when I see them - if you're a fan of Red Sister, these might feel like coming home to that.
